Mallary Hope Biography


Mallary Hope was born in the small town in Georgia on June 21, 1987. She attended Cohutta Elementary, North Whitfield Middle, and North Whitfield high. She is one of
five children. She started singing before she could talk which was around the age of two. She grew up singing in her fathers church. When she was 9 she traveled to Nashville and sang “Unchained Melody” and “Daddy’s Hands” at the Nashville Palace. At the age of 12 she formed her first band. By her sophomore year of high school she was performing 150 shows a year. At 17 she moved to Nashville to pursue her singing career. She started by becoming a session singer sang over 500 demos. She finally landed her own record deal at 21, with MCA Records.
She released her first single “Love Lives On” on August 3, 2009. It was the same day her brother in law and inspiration for “Love Lives On” deployed to Iraq. Along with her first single being released in 2009 she also released a four track EP. The EP includes “Wildflowers”, “Times Like These”, “Lets Just Fall In Love Again” and “Love Lives On” Her second single “Blossom in the Dust” was released February 22, 2010.

The first song she wrote was “She Thought About Leaving” which was a song she wrote about an abusive relationship. In her spare time she loves to write songs, hang out with family and go shopping. She can’t resist Starbucks, messages and pedicures. She loves to cook. She took one year of guitar lessons and then was self taught. She can play the flute, guitar and piano. She loves Java and dolphins. She is ADDICTED to Starbucks and gum. Her favorite is Bubblicious Strawberry Splash and Double Bubble.
